The Lang Bay Community Hall is located in the heart of Lang Bay in the qathet Regional District outside of the City of Powell River BC. The historic building is the only surviving building to reach 100 years old in this area! Lang Bay Community Hall is loved and maintained by a dedicated Board of Directors and its many members.
In 1920, the Lang Bay Hall was established as both a schoolhouse and a community gathering space, providing the small community of Lang Bay with a venue for learning, socializing, and meeting. As Hwy 101 expanded, visitors began traveling along the dirt road from Powell River to attend the dances that Lang Bay Hall quickly became famous for.
